Invitation Inspiration: Dirty Shoelaces

I worked on this invitation for a Bar Mitzvah party. The kid loved to play sports & we wanted to capture that in the invitation. Not only did it turn out to be unique, but hilarious with the dirty shoe laces!

let the sunshine in!

we are very lucky to catch a sunny moment in pittsburgh these days…so, why not enjoy a little sunshine with these beautiful cut flower custom invitations?

the cheery designs are for a bat mitzvah invitation and friday night celebration before the party. the client is a very “sunny” young lady;  so it is very fitting that her celebration theme is “let the sunshine in.” both invites were also inspired by the summers the client and her family spent on lake chautauqua.

the bat mitzvah invite is layered on top of shimmering polka dot paper; it is accented with hand-punched flowers, affixed with brads like a pinwheel.

the friday night party has a three-dimensional appeal. it blooms on the glossy paper with a pop-up glue dot, giving it that extra punch of flower power.

we had so much fun with the bright cut paper, we made the invites into more of a garden of sunshine than just a sunny day!
